The Game

Here’s how it begins:

It has been a regular day so far. In fact, in hindsight, you’re likely to believe that today had been absolutely spectacular. This is inspite of your boss giving you trouble and your girlfriend demanding an excessively increasing amount of your time.

The one thing that will makes all the difference between the life you had lived it so far and the life you’re going to live now on is the email. The email which proves that life is never as simple as it seems and that earth shattering things come in small packages.

Carpe Diem – IIM Calcutta’s flagship cultural fest presents – The Game

How to play the game:

·         All you need to do is send an email to carpediem2k8.youvegotmail@gmail.com

·         You’ll receive a clue

·         IF you solve the clue send the answer to carpediem2k8.(answer)@gmail.com where (answer) is where you put your answer. Therefore, if your answer to a question is death to all, you’ll send an email to carpediem2k8.deathtoall@gmail.com We’ve made it easy for you. Answers will not contain spaces or special characters.

·         Subject and content of the mail you will send is irrelevant

·         We will reply with another clue and that’s how the game will progress

But Wait…before you take the plunge, we’d like to give you some tips:

First – Pay attention to details. The devil is in the detail.

Second – Pay attention to the storyline. Be aware of your environment.

And Finally, whatever happens, DON’T GIVE UP.

We know you’d like to tell the world ther moment you crack a puzzle. Therefore, we’ve created a blog for you to discuss your progress. Or if you need help let us know via this blog and we’ll be there for you.

  3. Nice concept guys. I have a feeling though that repeated wrong guesses (and the subsequent bounces from wrong email ids) might cause our email a/c to be locked.
